Rule 30 - Finances
  • Checks – All payments from teams to the Commissioner’s office shall be signed by two pre-approved employees of the team and deposited into such accounts as the Commissioner deems fit.
  • Procedures – The financial statements of the Commissioner’s Office shall be prepared by a certified public accountant.
  • Budget – The Commissioner’s Office shall prepare a budget for each forthcoming year with reasonable contingencies.
  • Funds – All funds held by the Commissioner’s Office are deemed as joint funds of the major league teams.
